CRL Titebond® Heavy-Duty Construction Adhesive is a versatile, professional-strength adhesive that exceeds the American Plywood Associations AFG-01 specification. It is specifically designed for a wide range of construction applications, including wet, frozen and treated lumber. It is also ideal for metal, brick, concrete, ceramic, fiberglass and most large panel-type substrates.
Titebond® Heavy-Duty Construction Adhesive fills gaps and irregularities between materials and provides a more solid backup surface. It reduces the amount of nailing, increases floor rigidity and helps eliminate squeaky floors.
Titebond® Heavy-Duty offers excellent water-resistance and remains permanently flexible.
Technical Data: Exceeds the performance requirements of the American Plywood Association AFG-01 Specification, HUD/FHA Use of Materials Bulletin #60, ASTM D3498 and ASTM C557.
Application Guidelines: Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free from excessive oil, grease, water, dirt or any other material that may deter adhesion. Apply Titebond® Heavy-Duty Construction Adhesive to only one of the surfaces to be bonded.
NOTE: When bonding sub floors or wet, frozen and treated lumber, nail or screw as recommended by the American Plywood Association.
Application Temperatures: 0 to 100°F (-18 to 38°C)
Service Temperatures: -20 to 120°F (-29 to 49°C)
Working Time: Approximately 20-30 minutes for a 1/4" (6 mm) bead.
Product Warning:Titebond® Heavy-Duty Construction Adhesive is not designed for continuous submersion or for use on polystyrene foam, tub surrounds and most other plastics. Check cartridge label and Specification Data Sheet for additional limitations.
