ProTek Shield for Raypak digital gas pool heaters, designed to protect the heat exchanger from corrosion. Fits RP2100, Versa, Gemini (185-405), and Avia models with Capron headers post-1993. Made of durable zinc, it extends heater life in chlorine and saltwater pools via a patent-pending sacrificial anode design.Compatible with Raypak RP2100 (185A-405A), Versa (055A-405A), Gemini (55A-405A), and Avia (264A, 404A) heaters, per Raypak specs.Measures 2-1/2" long by 1-1/2" wide, constructed from zinc with a threaded cap, weighs 8 oz new, replace when eroded to 40%, per Raypak documentation.Installs under inlet header with a wing nut, requires bonding to exchanger, no tools needed beyond threading, per Raypak instructions.Shields heaters from corrosion with a quick, factory-spec swap, keeping your service jobs efficient and client pools heating longer.
