It will protect from power outages, main sump pump failure, main float switch failure, give extra capacity if needed, and protect from a clogged or frozen discharge line when piped separately. The PHCC-1850 backup sump pump system even helps protect from homeowner forgetfulness. The WiFi capable controller will monitor power, pump and battery conditions 24 hours a day. When maintenance is needed or a problem arises, it sounds an alarm, pinpoints problems and provides solutions on the control panel. As an additional test to ensure proper operation, the controller automatically activates the sump pump weekly. Plus, when using one of the Pro Series CONNECT Modules, the PHCC-1850 backup sump pump system can send remote alerts via, text, email or in app notification. It instinctively switches to battery power when AC fails and automatically recharges when it returns. The PHCC-1850 has not one but, two floats for extra protection, will handle both wet cell and maintenance free batteries, and can accommodate two batteries for extended run time.
