This CRL Makita 5" (127 mm) Disc Sander-Polisher is a compact, lightweight tool for sanding and polishing. It has a powerful, double-insulated 4.2 AMP (115V AC) Motor that delivers 4500 RPM for fast and efficient sanding. Weighs only 2.6 lbs. (1.2 kg) for easy handling, with a motor-over-the-pad design for better balance and control. Ball and needle bearing is sealed against dust, as is the switch, for long tool life. Includes lock-on button for continuous operation. Padded rubber grip helps eliminate vibration and increases comfort.
NOTE: To use with stick-on sanding disc see Cat. No. PAD5 and Cat. No. PAD6 backup pads. For replacement carbon brushes order Cat. No. 6430803. Requires two each.

It has been engineered with a comfortable, rubberized soft grip to provide comfort and motor protection features for longer lasting performance. Its lightweight design (weighs only 2.6 lbs. (1.2 kg)) provides great ease in handling during commercial sites operations. CRL Makita® 5" Disc Sander/Polisher has sealed ball and needle to resist corrosion and dust.
