CRL LL50 Lite-Lift Spiral Balance White Bushing 50 to 59.5 Pound

The CRL Lite-Lift Spiral Balances have 11/16" (17.5 mm) diameter plastic tubes available in either white or grey color. These balances are designed for heavier commercial or institutional type windows. Lite-Lift Balances are made in 10 lb. (4.5 kg) incremental strengths starting with the LL20 (Red Bushing) which will counter balance between 20 and 29.5 lbs. (9 and 13.4 kg) based on two balances. These balances are made to order from 12" to 48" (305 to 1219 mm) long and have two roll pins on the rod end. There are three pin lengths available; please specify 1/4", 1/2" or 3/4" pins (6.4, 12.7 or 19 mm). To add tension to the balance, attach a tensioning tool to the rod end, and pull the rod extending it 3/4" (19 mm) from the end of the tube and turn counter-clockwise to add tension. Each full rotation of the rod adds 2 lbs. (1 kg) of balance tension strength. Rod-end pins can be easily removed with the tap of a hammer, when converting from two pins to one.
