Contains meat and bone meal and 10% animal fat preserved with BHA and citric acid. Approved for all canine life stages, including puppies. Active dogs and high-strung breeds will thrive on this formulated, high-protein dog food. Dogs under special stress, needing a higher energy food, will receive the nourishment they need for better health and vigor. Adult Dogs: Can be fed dry or mixed with water, milk, or broth. 1 part warm water or broth to 4 parts dry food. Adjust to desired consistency. Puppies: Start feeding Hi-Protein as soon as they begin chewing on solid foods, usually 3 to 4 weeks of age. Feed puppies (up to 6 months of age) all of the moistened food they will consume at 3 interval feedings daily. Food may be moistened with warm milk, broth, or water to provide a soft consistency for puppies.
