This union solvent welds directly to CPVC tubing and provides a method for future disassembly of tubing without cutting. KBI PlatinumXCELL CPVC CTS fittings are USA made and conform to ASTM D 2846 Specification for Chlorinated Poly (Vinyl Chloride) (CPVC) Plastic Hot and Cold Water Distribution Systems. CPVC material is rated for hot and cold water plumbing systems to 100 psi @ 180+ALA-F. Approved by the UPC - Universal Plumbing Code. Meets/exceeds ASTM and ANSI standards. Meets/exceeds NSF standards.
