The Inception
George R. Bunn, the owner of Bunn Capitol Wholesale Grocery Company, starts the coffee brewing process and equipment division in the mid-1950s.

 

First Flat Bottom Coffee Filter
Bunn came up with the world to the first flat bottom coffee filter, the success of the filter led to the establishment of Bunn-O-Matic Corporation in 1963.


Commercial Coffee Service

Bunn-O-Matic Corporation soon launched the Model X Pourover commercial coffee brewer, which reflected its philosophy to make it easy to brew a cup of coffee.


Commercial Quality at Home
To cater to the home consumer market, the company comes up with tea brewers and brew-on-demand internal hot water tank, in the 1970’s.
