CRL Bullet Resistant 1/4" Thick Fiberglass Panel Protection Level 1 M.P.S.A. is highly recommended for use in banks, Ticket Booths, Judge's Benches, Cashier Booths, security enclosures and counter protection. They meet the standards of UL 752 ballistic performance requirement test, as well as bullet resistant test requirements of the national institute of justice. Panels are high pressure molded into standard 96" x 48" (2.44 x 1.22 m) size sheets. Cutting and drilling can be done using commonly available tools. Their polyester laminate reinforced design provides tensile-strength, heat-resistance and perform even under high temperature. The densely packed structure of the panel exhibits an excellent capability to absorb multiple impacts from high velocity projectiles, limiting ricochet or shattering. Specifications: Material: Reinforced Structural Polyester Laminate with Fiberglass Scrim Finish: Panels May be Covered with Vinyl, or Clad with Plastic Laminate Cutting: Can Be Accomplished with a Circular Saw, Table Saw, Panel Saw or Saber Saw. We recommend the Use of Carbide "Grit Edge" Blades for Ease of Cutting, Such as CRL Cat. No.'s GC703 or GJ1010 Drilling: Use High Speed Steel Drill Bits at a Low Speed *Levels Per U.L. 752 Ballistic Performance Requirements Test Specifications. Must Ship Via Common Carrier. DS 06/25/2016
CRL Bullet Resistant Fiberglass Panels are flat sheets of a polyester laminate reinforced with a fiberglass scrim to create a material with superior durability. The densely packed structure of the panel exhibits an excellent capability to absorb multiple impacts from high velocity projectiles, limiting ricochet or shattering. They meet the standards of U.L. 752 Ballistic Performance Requirements Test, as well as all bullet resistant test requirements set forth by the National Institute of Justice.
Typical applications include the lining of bank teller counters, ticket booths, judge's benches, doors and walls of secure enclosures, and other structures where concealed panels will add to the safety of service personnel. Panels are high pressure molded into standard 96" x 48" (2.44 x 1.22 m) size sheets. Cutting and drilling can be done using commonly available tools (see Specifications).
