Transporting glass is a tricky business. You want to make sure that it doesn't break or suffer scratches. No-Adhesive Shipping Pads for Heavy or Large Stacks of Glass
No-adhesive shipping pads are laminated with cork instead of sponge to offer firmness and avoid compression. The pads peel off without leaving any residue, eliminating the need for clean-up. They can be ordered as rolls of 1,000 pre-cut pads or as bulk rolls to transport large volumes or for frequent transportation of heavy glass. Felt Glass Protectors
Felt glass protectors from CRL are used to keep glass separated during shipping and storage. These high intensity protectors have an adhesive backing that keeps them adhered to the glass. The idea is to keep two glass surfaces from accidentally coming into contact and scraping each.
The protectors can also be on the base of lamps and vases to prevent them from scratching glass table tops. Available in a variety of colors, the felt protectors can be ordered in quantities of 100,000 or more. A popular option is FGP126 which has a 1/2'' diameter and 1/16'' thickness.
Corner Protectors
CRL corner protectors are designed to protect glass and mirror edges when they are being handled, shipped or stored. The black plastic protectors themselves will not scratch glass or mirror surfaces. Easy to slide on and off, they are available in six designs to suit different glass thicknesses. For example, 1563004 is suitable for 1/8'' to 3/16'' glass, like other corner protectors from CRL, can be re-used.
