Home Inspiration Coming Your Way!
Today, we're going to dream a little bit. You see, it's Wednesday, the middle of the week. Right now, you're tired from the beginning of the week and the weekend is two days away. So, we're going to help you relax and let you dream. This is not exactly a weekend home hack, but it is inspiration to upgrade your home. Let's get to it.
Every year, HGTV announces their selected dream home from anywhere in the United States. Floridians should be proud, the dream home of 2016 is located in Merritt Island, FL. Check out the following website to see pictures of the whole house: http://www.hgtv.com/design/hgtv-dream-home/2016 Also, see a sneak peek of the beauty below.
Wow, right? You may say this is not the most impressive house you've ever seen, but a dream home is impressive all-around, meaning it's a dream from the front yard to the guest room closet. Just take a look at the pictures and I'm sure you'll find inspiration for your own home. This is a beach house, obviously, but if you leave anywhere near the beach like us Floridians you can pull it off.
Then, when you've drooled over every room in this house, explore HGTV's dream home history from 1997 to the beach house above: http://www.hgtv.com/design/hgtv-dream-home/past-homes?nl=HGI_101916_featlink4_&bid=7908831&c32=2a96c4d21baa53bda4c5d6f112b394490a905354&ssid=&sni_by=1994&sni_gn= These homes may seem like an unachievable goal but it's not about transforming your house into a dream home overnight, it's about getting inspiration from what others seem to be doing right. The goal is to do little things here and there to achieve what a dream home really is: your home, a sanctuary for you and those you love.
We hope you enjoy looking at these dream homes, but what we really want to know is, what makes your home a dream home? Tell us in a comment below.
