Dow Corning® 795 consists of a single component, provides medium elasticity and is comprised of a neutral cure silicone architectural grade formula. It is a sealant, comprised of non-sagging silicone material, cures to a medium-modulus silicone rubber when exposed to moisture in the air. Joint performance does not change significantly with aging or exposure to weather and remain unaffected by sunlight, rain, sleet, snow, ultraviolet radiation, atmospheric contamination, ozone, and temperature extremes. our customer tells us that it works best on fiberglass, plastic resin forehatch frames, and wood Note: Should not be applied to building materials that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents, or in totally confined spaces. Do not apply to frost-laden or wet surfaces, or to surfaces that are in direct contact with food. Check cartridge label and Specification Data Sheet for additional limitations. Basic Use: Structural and non-structural glazing of glass, metal, and plastic; adhering stiffeners to building panels; weatherproofing applications, including perimeter sealing of doors and windows. Comparable Sealants: CRL: 95C. Dow Corning®: 995, 791. GE®: SilPruf 2000, UltraGlaze® SSG 4000. Tremco®: Spectrem 2, Spectrem 3. Pecora: 864, 895. Sonneborn: OmniSeal. Sika: SikaSil®-WS95. Limitations: Should not be applied to building materials that bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents, or in totally confined spaces. Do not apply to frost-laden or wet surfaces, or to surfaces that are in direct contact with food. Check cartridge label and Specification Data Sheet for additional limitations. Technical Data: It meets or exceeds the following specification standards: Federal Specifications TT-S-001543A (COM-NBS) Class A for silicone building sealants, and TT-S-00230C (COM-NBS) Class A for one component building sealants; ASTM C-920 Type S, Grade NS, Class 50, Use NT, G, A and O; ASTM Specification C 1184 for structural silicone sealants; Canadian Specification CAN2-19.13-M82.
