CRL 3M Pinchweld Primer is formulated for priming bare metal scratches on the pinchweld as well as the glass frit. This primer is a required step in creating the strongest bond possible when installing automotive glass. For the best possible installation, we recommend you always follow the CRL Urethane preparation sequence:
Use 3M Super Fast Glass and Pinchweld Primer to prime any bare metal scratches and the glass frit. Do not apply to old urethane and use PWR22 Automotive Glass Cleaner on the bonding area of the glass to remove any contamination. By using these products, the strongest possible bond will be attained.
Do not mix with other urethane systems. Must only be used with the 3M Super Fast Urethane . Use within 10 days of opening.
