Product Overview

CRL FG3000 Fire Glazing Tapes are specially formulated high-performance intumescent glazing tapes with adhesive backing on one side, that allows for much larger vision lites in 20, 45, 60, and 90-minute rated wood and hollow metal doors with metal vision frames. In 20 and 45-minute rated hollow metal screens, the use of FG3000 allows for much larger side lites, borrowed lites, and glass transoms. Successfully passed 20 minutes (with hose stream) and 45 minutes on wood and metal doors with vision lites installed.
Maximum Wood Door Size:
48" x 96" (1.22 x 2.44 m) single and/or pairs approved.
Maximum Hollow Metal Door Size:
48" x 120" (1.22 x 3.05 m) single and/or pairs approved.
Listed glazing products include:
(Wire Glazing) Pilkington, Asahi, and Central Glass; (Non-Wire Glazing) Firelite®.

Fire Rated - UL10C - Positive Pressure
Smoke Tested: Tested to UL 1784 and meets the requirements of NFPA 105-2013 for smoke leakage in an opening; allows no more than 3.0 cfm per square foot at 0.10" water column (about 75 Pa).
Fire Rated: Tested to UL10B Standard Fire Tests and UL10C Positive Pressure Fire Tests of Door Assemblies. Important Notes: Verify all applications with your door and/or frame manufacturer. Suggested Application Temperature= Between 65ºF (18ºC) and 80ºF (26ºC). Do not install on frames at less than 50ºF (10ºC) or more than 100ºF (37ºC). These Tapes perform best when used within 6 months of purchase.
