Category One Tape is a tough, impact resistant white plastic film that is specifically designed as a safety backing for mirrors and decorative mirror paneling. The film is coated with a very aggressive, acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive that bonds with a variety of mirror backing and glass surfaces. The tape is easily applied from the roll. In compliance with ANSI Z97.1 1975 UCB for impact resistance. Physical Properties:

Application Instructions: For best results, tape should be applied with pressure roller application. Surface should be clean and free of oil and moisture. Apply at temperatures between 60 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit (16 and 38 degrees Celsius).
Mastic Application:
Regular Palmer Mirro-Mastic and Gunther Premier Mastic may be used with Category II Safety Tape only, not Category I Safety Tape, that has been washed with 70 percent isopropyl alcohol (Rubbing Alcohol). Palmer Qwikset Mirro-Mastic,Gunther Extra/Build, or Gunther Ultra/Bond are NOT to be used with plastic safety film. Category I Safety Tape must have holes cut-out of it where the pats of mastic will be applied. Mastic will not adhere to Category I Safety Tape.
