This CRL Adjustable Diamond Countersink Adapter slides over the Belgian threaded diamond drill. Three hex head set screws hold the adapter in place. The adapter enables you to move it as the drill portion wears. It allows the operator to control the depth of the drill and the adapter. The adjustable countersink will outlast two or three drill bits.
Production fabricators will prefer the adjustable countersink adapter for a number of reasons. A clean edge chip line is one benefit. Tempering firms can cut scrap loss, from hole drilling failures in the furnace quench area, by at least 8%.
